 Learning Target: Students will be working to create a classroom learning community. Students will be working to get better at essential reading, writing, and analyzing skills. Students will be able to analyze documents, and write a persuasive essay using the information from those documents.

Climate Change Mini Q: We will be working on answering the questions for the Climate Change Mini Q in class today. Students will be answering the questions together in breakout rooms. After having group discussions, we will have a full class discussion.

Climate Change Mini Q: We will be working on answering the questions for the Climate Change Mini Q in class today.

Week of 11/9/20 - 11/13/20

Learning Target: Students will be working to create a classroom learning community. Students will be working to get better at essential reading, writing, and analyzing skills.

QOD: English is the most spoken language in the world, what is the second most spoken? What is the biggest ocean in the world?

Circle: If you could only have one meal for a week, what meal would you choose? What's the longest you've ever been away from home?

Five Big Things: Students will be sharing what their five favorite activities are.

Map Analysis: Students will be talking in small groups about the answers that they gave for the map analysis questions. We will then be discussing them as a class.

Color Coding: We will quickly be going over how to color code a paragraph.

Map Analysis Summative: Students will be working on their Map Analysis Paragraphs.

Pod B: Students will be working to answer the map analysis questions.

Pod A: Today will be a makeup work day. If you have completed all of your summative assignments, then you do not need to work on anything this period.

Creating Regions: Students will be working together in class to make at least 5 regions of the United States. Students will need to name at least 3 unifying characteristics for each region. All of the details are posted on Google Classroom.
