Circle: What person in your life has made the biggest impact on who you are today?
World Issues Project: You will have ten minutes to work on your World Issues Projects.
Football Game DBQ: We will be looking at and evaluating a series of documents together as a class. We will be trying to figure out each sources point of view and what the potential bias is of the source. At the end of this exercise, you will be writing a claim, evidence, warrant paragraph.
The Steps:
1- Read the document individually.
2- Discuss the document as a group. You should be discussing what you think the persons point of view is and what some potential biases may be.
3- Report out.
When we have finished looking at each document, your groups will be deciding which two documents you believe the most and which two you believe the least. You will be reporting out and we will be keeping a tally on the board.
When we have completed this, you will be writing a claim, evidence, warrant paragraph on Google Classroom. This once again is broken down into the three parts. Make sure your evidence is in full sentences. The warrants should be ATLEAST three sentences. They should be formatted as follows... "first of all" and explain one way your evidence supports your claim, then say "second of all," then "finally."
Homework: Football Game paragraphs are due next class so they are homework if you did not complete them in class.
